Come as You Are

You don’t need to fit into a model to heal. We’ll work together to understand your story, your nervous system, and what safety means for you.

Therapy that feels different- because it is.

This space is about understanding the whole of you- mind, body, and emotion. It’s a place to slow down, tune in, and make sense of the patterns that shape how you cope, connect, and move through the world.

Using approaches grounded in neuroscience and compassion, including EFT (tapping), somatic awareness, and emotional regulation, we’ll explore ways to create safety, clarity, and self-trust at your own pace.

  • What does Kinaire Mean?

Inspired by the Gaelic roots of our name, “Kin” meaning alike and “Aire” meaning mind, our mission is to create a space where like-minded individuals can come together, grow, and thrive.

  • What is Holistic Psychology?

Holistic psychology looks at the whole person; mind, body, emotions, environment, and values- rather than focusing only on symptoms or diagnoses. It integrates traditional psychological approaches with mind–body awareness, neuroscience, and practical tools for everyday wellbeing.

The goal is to understand why you feel the way you do, and to support balance across all areas of your life- not just to “fix” what feels wrong.

  • What does Neuro-affirming mean?

A neuro-affirming approach recognises that there are many different and equally valid ways of thinking, feeling, and processing the world. Instead of seeing neurodivergence (such as autism or ADHD) as something to be corrected, it’s seen as part of natural human diversity.

In therapy and assessment, this means working with your strengths, preferences, and nervous system- not against them. It’s about fostering self-understanding, safety, and self-acceptance.

  • What does trauma-informed mean?

Being trauma-informed means understanding how overwhelming or distressing experiences can shape the brain, body, and relationships and creating a space that feels safe, respectful, and predictable.

It’s not about re-experiencing trauma; it’s about helping your nervous system find safety and stability at a pace that feels manageable. A trauma-informed approach values choice, consent, and collaboration at every stage of therapy or assessment.
